Migration Services

Every source ERP migrated to ERPNext v16.

The complexity and cost depends on the source system. Tally is the most common migration in India and is included free. SAP, Odoo and older ERPNext versions are priced based on data volume and customisation.

Tally Migration Process

How PS Digitise migrates from Tally to ERPNext.

Tally migration follows a structured 6-step process. We don't go live until the Trial Balance in ERPNext matches Tally to the last rupee.

1
Export Tally data
Export Chart of Accounts, Ledger Masters, Stock Items, Party Masters, Opening Balances and outstanding invoices from Tally using Tally's built-in export and XML tools. PS Digitise provides the exact export scripts.
Week 2–3
2
Clean and map to ERPNext structure
Tally's COA structure is flatter than ERPNext's. PS Digitise maps every Tally ledger to the correct ERPNext account group — Assets, Liabilities, Income, Expenses. Stock items mapped with HSN codes and tax categories.
Week 3
3
Import masters into ERPNext
Chart of Accounts imported. Customer and Supplier masters created with GSTIN, payment terms and credit limits. Item masters with HSN, tax template and opening rate imported via ERPNext's Data Import Tool.
Week 4–5
4
Enter opening balances
Opening Stock entered via Stock Reconciliation — every item, every warehouse. Outstanding Sales Invoices entered via Opening Invoice Creation Tool. Outstanding Purchase Bills entered. Bank opening balance entered via Journal Entry.
Week 5–6
5
Trial Balance reconciliation
Run Trial Balance in ERPNext as of the cutover date. Run Trial Balance in Tally for the same date. Every figure must match — account by account. Any difference is traced and corrected before proceeding.
Week 6 · Critical step
6
Go-live — ERPNext becomes system of record
Only after Trial Balance matches exactly. Two-week parallel run — transactions entered in both Tally and ERPNext, reconciled weekly. After parallel run, Tally kept read-only for historical reference. ERPNext is the live system.
Week 8–10
The PS Digitise Trial Balance Guarantee

We do not go live until the opening Trial Balance in ERPNext matches your source system exactly — account by account, to the last rupee. Every Tally migration PS Digitise has done has reconciled to zero. We stand by this guarantee on every project.
